💧 AQUA Token - The digital flow of water
The AQUA token is the BioBitcoin token for freshwater. Each AQUA represents exactly one litre of real precipitation, measured via the decentralised weather station network WeatherXM. The emission is location-specific and in real time - depending on the precipitation on a specific TERRA area.
But AQUA is more than just a simple measured value: the token follows an innovative, hydrologically based logic. The system uses topographical GIS data to simulate the natural flow of water: If there is a gradient, AQUA can "run off" and flow on to neighbouring, lower-lying areas of land - just like real water.
This technology enables precise, transparent and dynamic water distribution. AQUA tokens can be allocated to different applications - such as drinking water supply, irrigation or ecosystem maintenance. At the same time, the system incentivises efficient and sustainable water use.
In combination with the TERRA and SOL tokens, AQUA forms the basis for holistic, ecologically integrated resource management - in real time, decentralised and measurable.
